Our Team
Amrita Kang O.D.
Dr. Amrita Kang was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. She is a graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry and completed a degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC.
Dr. Kang has provided eye-care services for a variety of patients including those with with traumatic brain injuries, young toddlers, and aging veterans. As a result, she has come to enjoy working with all patient demographics and is excited to take care of the visual needs of the patients at Estacada Eye Care.
She has also participated in humanitarian eye-care missions in Nicaragua and most recently in Tibet.
In her free time, Dr. Kang enjoys exploring all that Oregon has to offer, and loves to hike, read, and cook. She also enjoys traveling, especially to provide eye-care services to under-served populations.
Dogtor Mushu
Hey all! I am Mushu, the Estacada Eyecare mascot! You will see me from time to time spreading love around the practice. I am a lover of anyone and everyone that walks through our door, but I know not everyone always loves me quite as much. If this is the case, no need to worry! Just tell my Mom (Dr. Kang) or one of the nice front office staff and I will gladly go lay down in the back and take an afternoon snooze!
Outside of the office you can find me snoozing, chewing bones, or my favorite, digging squeakers out of toys!
